Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • For the Gravy:

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 large onion, sliced

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 tbsp flour or cornstarch

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape into patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook patties until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Melt butter in the same skillet and cook onions until soft and caramelized.
